Description

The Post Office, located at Nos 12 and 14 in Crondall, is a building from the 18th and 19th centuries that stands two storeys tall. No 12 originally had a symmetrical design featuring three windows, although the central window has been filled in. No 14 is a 19th-century extension to the west, designed in a similar style, and includes a single-storey setback extension that is of more recent construction. The building features two-over-one windows, a red tile roof, and brick dentil eaves. The brickwork is painted and laid in Flemish bond, with cambered openings on the ground floor. Modern casements are present, and there is a small shop front at No 14. The doorway of No 12 has a canopy supported by brackets, and there are rear gabled extensions.
