Description

Home Farm Barn is an 18th-century structure featuring a timber frame built on a brick base, consisting of eight bays. It has gabled entrances located on the east side at the third and sixth bays. The barn is supported by a tall Queen post truss, which includes diagonal struts connecting to the lower purlins and tie-beams. The roof is covered with red tiles and has a half-hipped design at the south end. The walls are boarded, although the walls of the first and second bays are constructed with brick nogging.
