Description

This 18th-century barn has five bays with aisles and features a timber frame built on a brick base. It has a central opening on the south side and a Queen Post truss with straight struts supporting the tie beams. The upper part of the roof is thatched and hipped, while the lower section is tiled, with hips at the east end. The walls are weather-boarded, but the wall of the north aisle includes brick-nogging within the timber frame.
