Description

The Baun is a 17th-century house situated on the south side of The Street in Crookham Village. It is a two-storey building with an irregular window pattern. The house has an exposed timber frame with painted brick infilling, and the east end projects forward. The roof is red tile, with gable and half-hip sections, and features tile hanging on the upper part of the east wing. The windows are casements, including some small original windows, and there are three gabled dormers. A modern brick porch has been added. A lead fire-insurance sign is also visible.
