Description

Grove Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 16th, 17th, and 19th centuries. It has two storeys and an attic, with the oldest section being the northern part, which features a timber frame. The main timbers are strutted and there are many intermediate verticals, all of which are exposed on the upper floor and in the large gable. There are extensions to the south. The roof is gabled and covered with red tiles, and there is a large chimney that projects from the northwest side. The infill of the timber framework is made of flint, while the remaining walls are constructed of red brick from various periods. The house has casement windows and a Victorian open porch.
