The Parsonage is a 17th to 18th century house located on the north side of The Street in Hempnall. It features a plastered timber frame with a brick front that dates from the 18th century. The building has a steep peg-tile roof with gabled ends and a large brick chimney stack positioned near the west end. It is two storeys high with an attic and includes one hipped dormer. The façade has a range of four windows, consisting of two-light casements with leafed panes, and a large multi-light window on the ground floor. The west end has a doorway with a Gibbs surround and a panelled door. At the rear, there is a gabled wing that forms an L-shaped plan and is also plastered. The east side is faced in brick and features an embattled parapet, with two storeys and three bays, including a central four-centred arch alcove on the ground floor.
