Description

Forge Cottage is a 17th century timber-framed house that is plastered. It features a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends and has two storeys plus an attic, which includes a window in the gable end. The front has a range of four windows, which are modern three-light casements with leaded panes. Beneath the eaves, there are two original small mullion windows. The house has two brick chimney stacks, one located off centre and the other at the west end.
