Description

Kirkstone, The Long House and Post Office is a long 17th century timber-frame building that is plastered. It features a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. There is an internal brick chimney stack located near the south end, while the north end has a parapeted brick gable with an internal stack. The building has two storeys and a four-window range, with 19th century and modern casements. Kirkstone includes a small late 19th century gabled porch, while The Long House and Post Office have modern doors.
