176-178 Rowner Lane is a building from the 17th and 18th centuries. It consists of a single block, with No 176 featuring a lower eaves and some exposed timber framing, while No 178 is wider. The building is two stories tall, including dormers at both the front and back. The walls are made of red brick in Flemish bond, and the windows are casements. The main feature of the property is its thatched roof, which has eye-brow dormers at the front and rear.
