Description
Prospect House is an early 19th-century house on the west side of Lower Quay, Fareham. It is constructed of yellow brick and has a hipped slate roof. The house extends over three storeys and has three windows on its main facade, each with sash windows featuring glazing bars and stuccoed lintels topped with keystones. A central portico, featuring a dentil cornice, provides access to a panelled door with a radial fanlight above. The eastern facade has a single window. Prospect House is part of a group of listed buildings along Lower Quay, which are largely visible from the approach from the town centre, including views across Quay Street and the Railway Viaduct.
