Description
9 Lower Quay is a small house dating from the 18th century, located on the west side of Fareham. It features a gable end facing the Quay and is constructed of red brick with grey headers. The house has a half hipped roof with a central chimney and stands at 2 and a half storeys tall. It has one window, which is a late 18th century or early 19th century casement, with the ground floor window having a cambered head lining. The listed buildings on Lower Quay form a group, most of which can be seen from the approach to the town centre through the Railway Viaduct across Quay Street.
