Description

The Iron Bridge at Fort Fareham is a mid-19th century bridge that crosses the dry moat at the entrance to Fort Fareham from Newgate Lane. It features iron balustrades with square panels that contain diagonal bars and palmette finials. The end of the bridge is currently damaged. The bridge and Fort Fareham are considered to form a group.
