Description
Westbury Manor, the Borough Council Offices, is an 18th-century building located on West Street in Fareham. The original central section features three bays constructed of grey headers with red brick quoins and window dressings. It has a brick modillion eaves cornice and a parapet, standing two storeys tall with three sash windows that include glazing bars. The entrance is framed by a moulded architrave topped with a flat hood supported by brackets, and it has panelled reveals along with a door made of six moulded and fielded panels, where the top two panels are cut away and glazed. There are early 19th-century additions in red brick, consisting of one bay to the west and two bays to the east. The building is topped with an old tiled roof.
