Description

The War Memorial on the street boundary of Holy Trinity Churchyard, located on West Street in Fareham, commemorates those who died in both World Wars. It was built around 1920 and features a tall, slender white stone cross with a polygonal shaft that rises from a stepped plinth. The cross is set within an open half circle formed by a low white stone wall, which includes interval piers and metal panels engraved with the names of the fallen. The War Memorial and Holy Trinity Church are recognized as a group.
