Description
Nos 36 to 40 on West Street in Titchfield is a 17th century timber-framed building with red brick infilling, featuring herringbone patterns on the first floor. It has a tiled roof with a large off-centre chimney stack and stands at one and a half storeys tall, with three dormers that break through the eaves. The front has four late 18th century to early 19th century casement windows, with a central door flanked by two windows, all set beneath a cornice. The building has rear cross wings. Nos 36 to 44 form a group with Nos 49 to 53 and Nos 57 to 73, with some of these being buildings of local interest.
