Description
Nos 10 and 11 High Street is an 18th-century building located on the west side of High Street in Fareham. It is constructed of red brick and features a brick modillion eaves cornice and a coped parapet. The building has a hipped roof covered with old tiles and stands three storeys tall. There are four sash windows with glazing bars and stuccoed lintels. The doorway is adorned with pilasters, a projecting dentil cornice, a rectangular fanlight, and a door made up of six moulded and fielded panels. This building is part of a group of listed structures on High Street and Union Street, which includes the listed street lamps, Nos 1 and 2, the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul, the Red Lion Hotel, and No 10 East Street. Additionally, No 45 High Street is noted for its local interest.
