Description

Eastleigh House is an early 19th-century building in Titchfield. It has a painted brick facade with a brick eaves cornice and a tiled roof. The building is two and a half storeys high with three windows and one dormer. The windows are sash windows, although the glazing bars are missing. A doorway features pilasters, a pediment, and a door with six moulded panels, the top two of which are now glazed. Eastleigh House is part of a group of buildings which include Nos. 3 to 39 (odd) and Old Clarendon House, and Nos. 5 to 11 (odd) The Old Lodge and Old Lodge Cottage on High Street, along with Nos. 2, 6 and 8, Nos. 14 to 18 (even), Nos. 22 to 26 (even) Rockstone House. The buildings of Nos. 14 to 18 (even) and Nos. 22 to 26 (even) are recognised as buildings of local interest.
