The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows; the ground floor windows are boarded up (1974), while the first-floor windows are round-arched, early 19th-century casements with moulded architraves. The facade facing Mill Street has a jettied first floor and includes one window with sashes in boxed frames, the upper window featuring glazing bars. The lower window and door are also boarded (1974). Oneday Cottage is part of a group with Nos 1 to 19 (odd) in the area.
