Description

This is an 18th-century building located on East Street in Titchfield. The front facade is stuccoed and features grooved detailing to resemble brickwork. It has an old tiled roof and is a corner building. The East Street elevation has a blank gable at one end and a rear wing. The two-storey section facing East Street has two sashes windows, with boxed frames. The ground floor sashes have a cambered top line. A doorway, featuring a pediment and a small rectangular fanlight above, is accessed via a moulded architrave and a six-panelled door. A separate elevation facing Church Path is three storeys high and includes three gabled dormers. This section also has three sashes windows, with boxed frames and glazing bars. The building forms a group of local architectural interest with numbers 3 to 39 (odd) and Old Clarendon House, numbers 6 and 8, numbers 14 to 18 (even), numbers 22 to 26 (even) Rockstone House, and numbers 5 to 11 (odd) on the High Street, which include The Old Lodge and Old Lodge Cottage.
