HIGH STREET 1. 5231 (West Side) Fareham Nos 34 to 36 (consec) SU 5806 NW 2/93 II GV 2. C18. Painted brick with brick eaves cornice and hipped, old tiled, roof. 2 storeys and basement. No 34, has 2 windows, No 35 has 3 windows with centre blank and a lower, 2 storeyed, 1 bay section at north end. All sashes with boxed frames and glazing bars. No 34 has a C19 shop window with glazing bars, this and door under entablature with cornice frieze and architrave with pilasters. No 35 has 6 panelled door. All the listed buildings on High Street and Union Street, with the listed street lamps form a group, together with Nos 1 and 2 and the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul, Church Place and with the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street, (No 45, High Street is of local interest).
