Description

Marks Farm Cottages is a former farmhouse dating from the 15th or 16th century. It is a two-storey timber-framed building with a large red tile roof that has low eaves on the west side, which includes a dormer, and half of the east side. The north and south gables display exposed timber framing that is brick-nogged. There is some brick walling, which is recent, featuring stretcher, Flemish, and Garden Wall bonding with blue headers, and one cambered opening. The windows are small casements with one, two, and four lights. There are also some older ground floor outshots.
