Description
The Church of All Saints is a Grade II listed building located on Botley High Street. This church, built in the 19th century, showcases Gothic architectural style and was constructed in three phases. The nave consists of seven bays and features a north-west tower built in 1836 by J.W. Wild, made of yellow brick. The south wall is adorned with a series of alternate single and triple lancet windows, which are connected by an impost band that runs over the window heads. The tower has three stages, with coupled corner buttresses and parapet pinnacles. The chancel was added in 1859 by J. Colson, while the Perpendicular north aisle was completed in 1892 by Sir Thomas Jackson. The church also includes a narthex with three elaborate dormers and a modern addition at the north-east corner. Inside, there is a font dating back to the 12th century.
