Description
Bradgate Manor is a two-storey building constructed in 1863, designed in the style of architect William Butterfield. Originally serving as a vicarage, the manor features a very steep tile roof on its west front, which includes four gabled dormers with cills at eaves level. The ground floor has three windows, one of which is a wide bay located at the south end. The walls are made of grey stone with brick quoins, and the dormer surrounds are in yellow brick. The windows are cusped lancets, with configurations of 2, 3, 4, and 6 lights, all made of wood but designed to resemble ashlar stone. On one side, there is a gable that includes single small lights and a yellow brick porch with a Gothic arch. The rear of the building has an extension in a similar style, which was added in 1919. The chimneys are of Tudor style and constructed from yellow brick.
