Description
Netley Lodge is a house dating from the 16th century and early 19th century, featuring two storeys with an attic. The older section has three windows and a two-storey projecting porch on the right side. Attached to the east is a taller gabled wing with one window from the later period. The roof is covered with red tiles, featuring half-hips and gables, and there are massive chimneys. The walls are constructed from rubble stone, likely sourced from Netley Abbey, with red brick quoins and surrounds around the window openings. The early 19th-century extensions are designed in a similar style and include a flagged hall and staircase. Inside, there are chamfered main beams from the earliest period, an old inner door, and horizontal sliding shutters.
