Description
This barn, located 40 metres northeast of Downlands, dates from the late 17th century and underwent restoration in the late 19th century. It features a timber frame consisting of three bays, with aisles surrounding the structure. The barn has arch braces supporting the purlins and tie beams. Its walls are made of sandstone, accented with brick quoins, a plinth, and vents. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles, extending at the east end into a half-hip, and includes a hipped cart entrance.
