Description

A group of cottages and shops dating from around 1840. The building presents a symmetrical appearance. It is two storeys high and constructed of limestone blocks with a slate roof. The central section comprises two cottages, numbered 131 and 129, each with two bays. The ground floor of the central section features a door, two windows, and another door. The first floor has just two windows, positioned directly above those on the ground floor. Single-bay, gabled wings with bargeboards project outwards to the left and right, and incorporate shops. The ground floor of the wings contains a shop window and a side door, both framed by pilasters and a moulded entablature. The first floor of each wing has a single recessed sash window.
