Description
The service block attached to Manor Lodge is a stable and store built in the early 19th century. It features flint and boarded walls with a slate roof. The structure is a narrow range that starts as a small symmetrical stable block at the north end and has been extended to connect with the main house. The roof aligns simply with the house wing. The stable section includes a hayloft door above an entrance, flanked by a lunette window on each side. The rest of the range has irregular openings, with the upper wall being boarded and the lower wall made of flint. At the south end, there is a small east wing that adjoins the taller wing of the house. This building is included for its group value with the Manor Lodge.
