Description
Manor Farmhouse is a building that dates from the 16th, 17th, 18th, and 20th centuries. It features a later medieval timber-framed hall with additional timber-framed extensions and later additions at the east end. The farmhouse is single-storey with an attic and has three windows. It has a thatched roof, with the eaves raised to upper windows that have cills at eaves level. The external walls are made of brick, with the lower section in English bond and the upper section in Flemish bond, incorporating blue headers and cambered ground floor openings, as well as a plinth on a flint base. The windows are casements. There is a modern brick porch with a hipped tile roof, leading to an old seven-panelled door, which has a glazed top middle panel. Inside, the exposed frame showcases different periods, and there is an oak bressumer fireplace dated 1593.
