Description
Bailey Hall Farmhouse is a building that dates from the 16th century, with later additions from the 18th and 20th centuries. It features a late medieval timber frame that has been clad over time, along with a modern extension. The farmhouse has two storeys and an irregular arrangement of windows. The roof is tiled, hipped at the north end, with a catslide at the rear and a half-hipped design on the single-storey extension to the south.
At the rear and in the south gable, some of the timber frame is exposed and includes brick infilling, while most of the walls are constructed with brickwork in Flemish bond, with some sections featuring blue headers. The ground-floor openings are cambered, and a portion of the front wall is tile-hung. The windows are casements, and the doorways are plain.
