Description

Walnut Tree Cottage is an 18th, 19th, and 20th-century house, originally comprising an older central section with later additions at each end. The house has two storeys and four ground-floor windows. The roof is thatched, with a hip at the north end and a half-hip at the south end, featuring eyebrows. The walls are red brick in Flemish bond, incorporating blue headers, and the ground-floor openings are cambered. The windows are casements, including three metal-framed "estate" windows with diagonal lights. A boarded door is set within a solid frame.
