Description

Dell Farmhouse dates to the early 19th century. It has a symmetrical south front with three windows over two storeys, accompanied by single-storey extensions to each side, each with a single window. The roof is tiled, with stone coping running along the side walls just below the eaves. The walls are red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, featuring rubbed flat arches and semi-circular headed panels above the windows. The windows are mostly sash windows set in reveals, with casements on the sides. The front door has a modern gablet supported by old carved brackets, a reeded frame, and a six-panelled door with two glazed panels at the top. A single-storey block extends to the east, featuring a tiled roof, flint walls, and brick dressings around irregularly shaped and altered window and door openings.
