Description

Dickers Farmhouse is an 18th-century building with 20th-century alterations. It presents a symmetrical three-window front, of two storeys, facing south. A one-window extension has been added to the west, turned forward to create an L-shaped layout. The roof is hipped and tiled, featuring brick dentil eaves. The exterior is red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a first-floor band, rubbed flat arches, stone sills, and a plinth. The windows are sash windows set in reveals. The ground floor features three-light sashes, with one window brought forward within a rectangular brick bay that has a tile roof. A moulded canopy supported by carved brackets shelters the doorway, which has an architrave and a half-glazed door.
