Description

This late 19th-century lychgate features a timber frame supported by stone walls on either side. Each side includes a plate, two posts, and braces connecting to horizontal beams, from which the rafters extend. The structure is topped with a steep hipped tiled roof that has a bellcast and a short ridge, which is adorned with a wrought-iron cross. The lychgate has a double gate with cusped panels.
