Description

This is a pair of 17th-century buildings on The Street in Old Basing. They are two storeys high with a three-window front. The roof is covered with old tiles. The walls are of red brick in English bond, with a molded second-floor band to the gable of number 10. There is also a molded brick and tile first-floor band, and a high plinth with a molded stone offset. The windows are casements, including two small windows—one below the eaves and one above the first-floor band—all with old leaded panes. The front doors are boarded and set in solid frames. This property holds group value given its age and architectural characteristics.
