Description

Number 23 on Winchester Road is a late 18th-century building featuring a symmetrical facade with two storeys and three windows. The roof is made of red tiles, and the walls are constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, which includes a band at the first floor. The ground floor openings have cambered arches with flat soffits, and the windows are sashes set in exposed frames. The doorway is topped with a canopy supported by brackets and includes a plain fanlight within an architrave. Stone steps lead up to the entrance.
