Description

This 17th-century barn, located 30 yards south-east of the house, consists of six bays. The southern part is an addition, while the northern gable indicates the loss of a bay. It features aisles on each side and has a massive tiled roof that is hipped at the south and gabled with a small hip at the north. The interior truss includes straight struts to the purlins from the tie-beams and the aisle cross beam, as well as between the posts and the tie-beam. The walls are weather-boarded on a brick base, and the side entrances have been bricked up. The roof has been replaced with corrugated iron.
