Description
Nos 36 and 36A on London Street are late 18th century buildings that stand two storeys tall with two and a half windows. They feature a red tile roof with two flat-roofed dormers. The buildings have a parapet with stone coping and a stone moulded cornice that returns at the west side and around the slightly projecting east side, which includes a recessed panel. The walls are finished in stucco with a stone plinth. The windows are sashes set in reveals, accompanied by narrow side lights. There is a modern shop window on the west side and a control doorway with a plain cement architrave. Inside, there is a contemporary staircase.
