Manor Cottage II

C15, C17, C18, C20. Small timber-framed house, with later extensions at each end; one storey and attic, 3 windows to the front. Thatched roof, half-hipped to the south side, hipped to the north, part catslide at the rear, eyebrow dormers. The front wall is of red brickwork in Flemish bond with blue headers, the south wall of older red brickwork, the north end outshot being boarded; at the rear there is exposed timber framing, with painted brick infill. Casements. Small modern porch, but an old boarded door at the rear. Within, there is a massive chimney breast and exposure of the original cruck framework.
