Description

Racketts Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th, 18th, and early 19th centuries. It is an irregular two-storey structure divided into three parts, with the central section being timber-framed. The roof is tiled and has three levels, featuring a hipped middle section and a half-hipped design, with low eaves on the north side that are two levels high. The walls are primarily red brick, although there is some heavy exposed framing on the north side. The building has a first-floor band, second-floor bands in the gables, and a plinth. The windows are casements, and there is a modern plain door.
