Description
Castle Green Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century and the mid-19th century. It features a combination of brick and timber-framing with a tile roof. The southeastern part of the house is constructed of brick and appears to be from the 19th century. To the northwest, there is an adjoining timber-framed section that is built in irregular square panels and has two storeys with an attic. The north-eastern gable wall of this section includes a single-storey early 19th-century brick canted bay window on the right. The upper storey is jettied, supported by two jetty brackets, and has two casement windows on the first floor. The truss in this section includes a tie-beam, vertical struts, V-struts, and an attic window situated between two collars. There is a door on the left with a chamfered brick surround, and a chimney is located on the right-hand wall.
