Description

This barn, located 30 meters north-west of Derrydown Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century and has been restored in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with seven bays and aisles on three sides, supported by straight struts. There is a central wagon entrance. The roof is tiled, hipped at the east end and half-hipped at the west, above the entrance. The walls are boarded above a brick base, and one of the posts is inscribed with the year 1696.
