Description

Eyles Cottage is an early to mid-19th century cottage situated on Church Street in St Mary Bourne. The symmetrical front, facing north-east, features three windows over two storeys. The roof is slate, with stepped brick eaves. The walls are red brick with flint panels, displaying brick rubbed flat arches, stone cills, and a plinth. The windows are sashes; the central opening has been filled with blue header bricks. A plain doorway provides access to a four-panelled door. The cottage is included on the list for its group value.
