Description

The roadside boundary wall to the churchyard of St Peter, along with gates and gatepiers at each end, is a notable structure. The wall is constructed of flint with brick dressings, bands, bases, and vertical elements. The top of the wall features otonework that is weathered in a Gothic style. The wrought iron gateways have posts with corner verticals that are connected by horizontal bars, topped with a small cut iron vase. Between the posts, there is a wrought iron arch that is open at the top, designed to support a lamp.
