Description
Old Ivy Cottage and Little Ivy are two cottages located in Waldron Village, dating from around 1715, with extensions added in the late 20th century. Old Ivy Cottage is the original structure, except for one room on the left side of the ground floor, which is part of Little Ivy. The ground floor is rendered in brick, while the first floor is tile-hung. The cottages have a tiled roof with end brick chimneystacks and are two storeys high with three windows. The first floor features 16-pane sash windows, and the ground floor has 20th-century casement windows. There is a central 20th-century porch. Old Ivy Cottage includes a single-storey extension to the south, while Little Ivy has a one-storey extension added in 1971 to the north.
