Description
Hassalls and The Old House is an L-shaped building that dates back to the 17th century or earlier, with alterations and expansions made in the 18th century. The oldest visible part is located in Hassalls to the east, featuring red brick on the ground floor and tile-hung above, along with casement windows. The south front has been completely refaced in the 18th century with painted brick and retains sash windows with intact glazing bars. The building has a tiled roof and stands two storeys tall with seven windows. A modern porch is present on the east front, while the west front, which is entirely red brick, features a modern Georgian doorway.
