Polegate Windmill, also known as Mockett's Mill and Ovenden Mill, was built in 1817. This good tower mill is constructed of red brick with all headers and is partly tile-hung. It features a metal sheet cap and has three sweeps that are partly intact, with only one middling for the fourth. Additionally, part of the fantail is intact. The mill was moved from the parish of Willingdon.
