Orchard Cottage, Forge Cottage, and the former Forge are a group of 18th-century buildings located on Withyham Road in Hartfield. They are one storey high with an attic and feature six windows, including three gabled dormers. The buildings are faced with weather-boarding, while the former Forge is constructed of red brick. They have a half hipped tiled roof and casement windows.
