Description

Lych Gate Cottage, dated 1520 and restored in 1946, is a small timber-framed cottage located on the north side of Church Street in Hartfield. The first floor overhangs the entrance to the churchyard. The building features close-studded construction with plaster infilling and curved braces on the first floor. It has a tiled roof and casement windows, standing two storeys high with two windows.
