HARTFlELD CHURCH STREET 1. 5208 (north side) Lych Gate Cottage (formerly listed as The Lych Gate) TQ 4735 34/50 26.11.53 II GV 2. Dated 1520, restored in 1946. Small timber-framed cottage of which the first floor overhangs the entrance to the church yard. Close-studded with plaster infilling, and curved braces on first floor. Tiled roof. Casement windows. Two storeys. Two windows.
