Description

The Parish Church of St Mary is located on the north side of Church Street in Hartfield. This Grade I listed building features a chancel and nave that are not divided, along with a south aisle, porch, and a west tower topped with a broached shingled spire. The church is primarily from the 13th century, although it includes some later architectural elements. The tower and spire are particularly noteworthy.
