Description

The village water pump, dated 1831, is made of cast iron and features an obelisk-like design with a rectangular base and a canted head that has coping. It includes fielded panels, and both the spout and handle are intact. The lettering 'Hill 1831' can be seen on two faces of the pump. It is set on a stone plinth and is surrounded by a dwarf wall made of Flemish bond gault brick.
